Timing isn't everything, but its something. Getting regular exercise is one of the best things you can do for your overall health. And if you're overweight, fitting in a walk or jog before breakfast might help to tip the scales in your favor (literally). To get into the morning exercise habit, lay out your exercise clothes and shoes the night before ( the more time you spend looking for your t-shirt and sock, the more likely you are to slide back into bed). Or make a date with a friend- knowing a friend is waiting around on the corner is sure to help you resist the snooze button. And if pre-breakfast exercise just doesn't work for you, all is not lost since exercise any time of day is fantastic for your health. The very best time? Whatever time you'll "just do it".
